Epic Waveboard Range

When you factor in skill level, size, conditions and personal preference, it seems ridiculous for any of us to tell you which board you should ride.
At Xelerator we focused to extend and refine our successful and test winning Epic range. With our range we strive that everyone has more fun because after all it is so much more fun on the right equipment!
All boards in the Epic range have been extensively tested by our team riders in different condtions. This revelation in versatility has changed the way many riders view wave riding. Smaller kites, bigger boards, strapped, strapless with dedicated surf performance for no wind situations.
Xelerator introduced the first Surf Fish in 2005 where it was test winner in Germany. In 2007 Kiteworld tested the Epic and found it to be, “One of the easiest boards to ride and that performs with the best”.

In 2009 our boards continue to redefine wave riding. The new boards are slightly bigger but with more flex for more drive on the wave resulting in more dedicated surf performance.

The Future Fin boxes are fully embedded in the board. The boxes are connected to the deck of the boards, making it a strong and durable system. The Heel sections are reinforced with a 10mm wood reinforcements which makes the delamination under the heel section nearly impossible.
Due to the higher speeds achieved on kiteboards compared to conventional surfboards we use the Vector II Foils. The Vector II Foils transition into a flat foil towards the tip, creating a burst of speed off the bottom, yet feeling loose and free on the top turns and great for breaking out the tail.

“The Epic is a high performance board that keeps the speed up in a variety of conditions and as much as the ride, we got a kick out of the traditional look and construction“
